The BluHarbor legal benefit begins with our $15 per pay period base plan aptly entitled “Lawyer On Call.”
Lawyer On Call (“LOC”) is designed to provide enrolled members with quick and easy access to our Firm’s attorneys to resolve legal questions, issues or conflicts (through consultation, demand letters, traffic ticket hearings, and the like) which typically arise in an employee’s normal day-to-day life. The base plan also allows enrollees to complete their Last Will & Testament and Powers of Attorney online through our proprietary software for no extra charge.
The LOC Program is a key component to an employee’s legal health and peace of mind because it provides a proactive and simple pathway to speak with an attorney before a problem arises, or worse, turns into a family crisis.
If a legal issue arises that is atypical or more complex (e.g., a lawsuit or a complicated legal transaction), Shea Law will either discount its services by at least 25% or, if it is beyond the scope of the Firm’s practice (e.g., Immigration Law, Patent Law, etc.), work side-by-side with a trusted network or affiliated firm to ensure enrolling members always receive excellent legal representation at a reduced fee.
Below is a breakdown of services covered under the LOC Program.
Service not listed? We have a network of attorneys. If your matter is beyond the scope of Shea Law’s practice specialty, we will work side-by-side with a trusted network or affiliated firm to ensure enrolling members always receive excellent legal representation at a reduced fee.

Estate Planning is a big reason employees enroll in legal plans. The LOC base plan allows enrollees to complete a Last Will online through our proprietary software with no extra charge. However, many enrollees want to establish a revocable trust (which we highly recommend) or meet personally with an estate planning attorney. To that end, we have two additional packages that can be added to any LOC plan: the ‘Online Will and Trust Package’ and the ‘Traditional Will and Trust Package’. These packages allow enrollees to get a Shea Law estate plan – complete with a Will and Trust – at a fraction of the cost and on their own terms (in person or online). There is also the substantial added benefit of paying over 12 months through payroll deduction.
This plan provides enrollees online access to our proprietary estate planning software to create their Trust & Will. Shea Law will draft and review the enrollee’s estate planning documents for accuracy. The enrollee will then be provided a final version with instructions on how to print, sign, and fund the Trust. Upon completion, Shea Law will review the executed documents and certify their accuracy. Exclusions may apply if the Will & Trust involve atypical complexities not suitable for online drafting. Requires Base Plan: "Lawyer On Call."
Revocable Trust, Last Will & Testament, Financial Power of Attorney, Healthcare Power of Attorney, Funeral Representative Form
Some enrollees may prefer a more traditional face-to-face meeting with a Shea Law estate planning attorney or may have complex situations unsuitable for online trust preparation. This includes high net worth individuals, families with special needs children, blended families, and families that want to create unique & thoughtful inheritances for their loved ones. Requires Base Plan: "Lawyer On Call."
